I am Kyle Roucis (Rooshis). Yes, me. The faceless entity pouring out all these words onto your screen. I am a Bachelor of Innovation in Computer Science and Game Design and Development at UCCS. I am an avid programmer and game designer and thoroughly enjoy creating new and exciting experiences for people. I have published a game for the iPhone in conjunction with one of my classmates (info can be found here: iSayz), check it out! I’m also in the process of creating my own game studio, so if you are a talented and passionate game designer, game programmer, musician, or artist, feel free to drop me a line. Now you know…too much…

Sir, I would like to extend my gratitude to you in the deepest way possible as a blog post. After wrestling with Point Sprites in OpenGL for 3 days straight, and all day long, your post gave me what I need to get my project rolling. My project is an iPhone application so, I need to use OpenGL ES, therefore I had to switch some of it around. But for the most part it is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
I’m glad someone found it useful. I had much the same experience (more like 3 weeks…) and decided that it was time to make it available to everyone. The sites and articles I found held very little information, now anyone can use it. Hope it helps, please let me know if you would like to share anything of your own or if there are problems with the code I provided. Good luck!
